Maharashtra Student Paraglides to Exam Hall to Beat Traffic
In an extraordinary display of quick thinking and resourcefulness, a student from Maharashtra’s Satara district found a unique way to reach his exam hall on time. Facing an unavoidable traffic jam, he chose paragliding as his mode of transport, making an unforgettable entry to his examination center.
A Race Against Time
Samarth Mahangade, a student from Pasarani village in Wai taluka, was in Panchgani for personal work when he suddenly realized that he had an important exam scheduled at his college. Unfortunately, the Pasarani Ghat section of the Wai-Panchgani road was heavily congested, making it impossible for him to reach on time through conventional means. With only 15-20 minutes left, the situation seemed critical.
A Creative Suggestion
At this moment, adventure sports expert Govind Yewale from GP Adventures in Panchgani came up with an unconventional yet effective idea. He suggested that Samarth use paragliding to bypass the traffic and reach his destination quickly. Without wasting time, Yewale and his team arranged for a paragliding flight.
A Safe and Successful Landing
Under the supervision of trained paragliding instructors, Samarth safely took off, soaring over the traffic-clogged roads. With his college bag secured, he glided towards his exam venue, landing close to the college just in time to write his paper. The entire incident was captured on video and has since gone viral on social media, drawing widespread admiration for the student’s ingenuity and the expert guidance of the adventure sports team.
