Impacted Product Details
Tropicale Foods, based in Modesto, is voluntarily recalling 5,224 pieces of their Helados Mexico Mini Cream Variety Pack after tests found the risk of salmonella contamination, notably in the mango bars.
Health Concerns and Vulnerable Groups
The implicated items, with a best-by date of October 11, 2025, were supplied in 16 states in the United States, select places in Europe, and Washington, D.C. Despite the recall, no instances of salmonella infections related to the product have been reported thus far.
Manufacturer Response and Inquiry
Tropicale Foods has halted the distribution of the impacted goods and launched an inquiry into the core cause of the contamination problem
Consumer Advisory and Product Disposal
Customers who have purchased the recalled foods are encouraged to destroy them immediately and avoid ingesting them.
