The Versatile Garlic Chutney: Health Benefits and Preparation

Garlic Chutney
Ingredients:
- Garlic
- Onion
- Dried Red chillies
- Asafoetida
- Tomatoes
- Salt
- Cumin Seeds
- Cooking oil
- Coriander powder
How to Cook
- To cook this flavorful garlic chutney, start by blending fresh tomatoes, onion, ample quantity of garlic and red chillies with some coriander powder until smooth
- Heat some oil in a pan
- Add cumin seeds to the hot oil and let them sputter
- Stir in a pinch of asafoetida
- Next, add the blended mixture along with some salt and let it simmer on low heat until cooked.
- Let it cool completely before transferring it into an airtight container
- It can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2-4 days.
- Serve warm alongside roti
