Mehra had booked a Rapido cab for his cook, whose wife was in labor and needed urgent transportation to the hospital. However, during the journey, the woman experienced intense pain and delivered a baby boy inside the vehicle.

Realizing the urgency of the situation, Vikas remained calm and helped in the delivery process. He ensured the mother and newborn were safe throughout the ride and promptly took them to the hospital for necessary medical attention.

In his Reddit post, he requested Rapido’s co-founder, Pavan Guntupalli, to help connect with Vikas so that he could extend his gratitude. Mehra also shared screenshots of the ride details in hopes of identifying the driver.
