A 15-year-old boy from Kerala, Mihir Ahammed, took his own life after enduring relentless bullying and harassment from his classmates. His mother has alleged that school authorities attempted to suppress the truth, prompting her to file a complaint and seek a thorough investigation.

Mihir, a student at Global Public School in Ernakulam, had reportedly faced severe physical and verbal abuse. According to his mother, Rajna PM, he was constantly bullied for his skin colour. She revealed horrifying details, stating that Mihir was forced to lick toilet seats and had his head shoved into a toilet while it was flushed. This cruel treatment took a severe emotional toll on him.
Final Moments and Tragic Decision
On January 15, just an hour after returning from school, Mihir jumped from his family’s 26th-floor apartment in Kochi. His parents, devastated by his sudden death, began gathering information to understand what had led to this tragic decision. What they uncovered was a pattern of severe bullying by a group of students, both at school and on the school bus.
Disturbing Online Chats Surface
The cruelty did not stop even after Mihir’s death. Screenshots of online messages surfaced, revealing classmates mocking and celebrating his passing. One message allegedly read, “Fk nia, he died,” indicating the extent of the abuse he suffered.
Investigation and Allegations Against School Authorities
Following Mihir’s death, an FIR was filed, and his mother submitted a petition to the Child Commission, demanding an in-depth investigation. She also accused the Vice Principal of Mihir’s previous school, GEMS Kochi, of mistreatment, adding to the list of concerns.
Furthermore, she alleged that the school administration attempted to cover up the incident instead of taking action. She claimed that when she presented evidence to the school authorities, they merely stated that the information had been forwarded to the police.

Mihir’s mother also pointed out that an Instagram page created by his friends to seek justice was deleted within days. Additionally, she accused the school of intimidating students to keep them from speaking out about the abuse. These actions have raised suspicions that the school is trying to protect its reputation rather than ensuring justice for Mihir.
