Ratlam Girl Dies After Illegal Injection by Quack Doctor

SummaryA 6-year-old girl in Ratlam tragically died after receiving an injection from a homoeopathy practitioner illegally practising allopathy. The same clinic had a similar death in 2019. The doctor was arrested, and the clinic was sealed. This write-up uncovers the shocking details and legal loopholes involved.

A Chilling Case of Negligence: Who Can You Really Trust?

Can you imagine losing a child to a fever… not the fever itself, but to a wrong injection given by an unqualified doctor?

In a disturbing incident from Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh, a 6-year-old girl lost her life hours after being injected by a homoeopathy practitioner illegally performing allopathic treatments. This blog dives deep into the case, revealing shocking facts about the doctor’s background, his long-standing illegal practice, and the legal action taken against him.

Let’s break it down for clarity and awareness.

Girl Dies After Injection by a Fake Doctor in Ratlam

The little girl had a fever. Like many parents would, her family rushed her to a nearby clinic in Ratlam on Tuesday. There, a man who had been posing as an allopathic doctor for over a decade gave her an injection, without any tests or proper examination.

Soon after, she began vomiting. Her condition worsened rapidly, and she was taken back to the clinic, but it was too late. She passed away around 1 p.m. Her body was sent to Ratlam Medical College for post-mortem and cremated the same evening.

Who Was This Doctor?

Here’s where it gets more alarming.

The man was a homoeopathy degree holder, also working as a teacher at a private university — not qualified to administer allopathic treatments. Yet, for more than 10 years, he had been running a clinic from a rented room, giving injections and IV drips to unsuspecting patients.

Despite lacking the required license, he treated patients all this time, without oversight

Not the First Death at His Clinic

According to the media reports, this isn’t the first fatality linked to his clinic.

In 2019, a 30-year-old man named Ramesh Charel died during treatment there. He had gone in with complaints of pain in his hands and legs, and died on the spot.

Yet, no strong action followed until now.

Arrest and Legal Action

After the little girl’s death, the family immediately alerted police. Health officials also arrived for an urgent investigation. Upon confirming the doctor’s lack of allopathic credentials, police sealed the clinic.

The man fled the scene but was arrested by Raoti Police on Tuesday night. He is currently being questioned.

“He had no authority to treat patients with allopathic methods,” confirmed an investigating officer.

Why is this Important?

This tragic case exposes the serious gaps in monitoring and regulating medical practices in India. How did someone without the right license manage to treat people and cause multiple deaths, for more than 10 years?

It also raises a pressing question: How can patients verify a doctor’s credentials before treatment?

Final Thoughts

A child’s life was lost to what seems like avoidable negligence and systemic failure. The man behind it is now facing consequences, but only after two deaths.

Let this be a wake-up call. Always verify medical qualifications, especially when visiting local clinics or practitioners who offer injections or IV treatments without basic tests
