Man in ‘Coma’ Walks Out of ICU – Hospital Scam Uncovered
A recent incident from Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh, has left the public stunned. A man who was reportedly in a coma managed to escape from the ICU, exposing a shocking case of alleged medical fraud. The viral video of his escape has sparked widespread outrage and calls for stricter regulations in private hospitals.
A Shocking Escape and Startling Revelations
In a twist that no one expected, Banti, who was believed to be unconscious, suddenly walked out of the ICU—fully alert and seemingly unharmed. The video of his escape quickly went viral, raising serious concerns about the hospital’s practices.
According to Banti, he was physically restrained by five hospital staff members who kept him under control while pressuring his family for money. His daring escape was a desperate attempt to break free from what he described as a terrifying ordeal.
Family’s Account Confirms Allegations
Banti’s wife and mother supported his claims, stating that the hospital repeatedly told them he had a spinal fracture and was in a coma. They were handed multiple prescriptions, which they bought in good faith. Despite their compliance, the hospital demanded ₹1 lakh to continue his treatment, leaving them no choice but to seek financial help from others.
“We were told he had a spinal injury and was unconscious,” Banti’s wife explained in the viral video. “We bought all the medicines they asked for, but then they demanded ₹1 lakh. We struggled to gather the amount, borrowing from anyone who could help.”
Public Outrage and Calls for Accountability
This shocking case has triggered widespread anger on social media and beyond. People are questioning how such an incident could occur in a private hospital, a place meant to provide proper care and safety.
Many are now demanding stricter regulations and oversight to protect patients and their families from unethical medical practices. This case highlights the urgent need for accountability and reforms in the healthcare sector, ensuring that no one else falls victim to such exploitation.
