The prominent doctor, a resident of Sangam Bihar, was abducted by unknown miscreants. When he failed to return home, his family launched a frantic search. His wife, Jayashree, filed a complaint at Sipri Bazar police station. The investigation led police to Madhya Pradesh’s Morena, where they found the kidnappers plotting to sell him to another gang.
Court Delivers Justice: Life Imprisonment for the Convicts
After an extensive trial, a special court in Jhansi, presided over by Special Judge (dacoit-affected areas) Pawan Kumar Sharma, found five men guilty of the crime. The convicts—Rajveer Singh Gurjar (Lakara village, Sipri Bazar), Pushpendra Gurjar (Unnao Balaji, Datia), Ramlakhan Gurjar (Morena), Badam Singh Yadav (Vasudev Vihar Colony, Sipri Bazar), and Krishna Kumar Sengar (Morena) were sentenced to life imprisonment.
Additionally, each convict was fined ₹25,000. Government counsel Bipin Kumar Mishra confirmed that the case was registered under Section 364 of the IPC, leading to their conviction.
